Ultimate Teen Nautical Girls Birthday Party Ideas, Invitation Design, Decor, Pool Party!

A friend of mine called and said her little girl was turning 13 and she needed ideas for a nautical birthday theme. She wanted the nautical custom invitations, nautical custom logo, everything personalized plus all the ideas I could possibly come up with to make their backyard pool party a huge success. Now, with a girl that age, it's important to ask her what she likes and her favorite colors, too. Have little girls of my own, I consulted the experts (them) on the ultimate nautical backyard pool party and this is everything we thought of and some of the finished pieces!

Party Favors
We were thinking a bucket with all these things in it or just give a couple of items to hand out. We ended up doing a beach bag with a towel and all sorts of goodies in it! But you might like some of these ideas too!

Designing the invite to make a 13 year old girl happy!

When you get 100% RSVP's you know it was a killer invite! The design, offerings, party details and wording matter! It sets the stage for the entire event.

 

 

 

She was so excited to see her custom logo. We even printed a pillow for her so her friends could sign it and she could have a cool keepsake!

I made her some nautical cupcake toppers, nautical cupcake topper and nautical cupcake wrappers and she loved them! They look fabulous! A bunting banner to run above the candy table gave it a finished look. I had a couple printed card stock sheets in 5" x 7" frames I spray painted from the dollar store to mark the gift, candy and thank you gift tables.

Birthday Girl
You have to make sure the birthday girls feels like a million bucks. A manicure and pedicure the day before the party is a must. Cute personalized bathing suit tops, bathing suit cover ups and matching converse, YES! Don’t forget the fishtail braids. If it’s a pool party and she’s going to be swimming this is a great way to look good throughout the party for photos.

-Cool bright ribbons in her braid.
-Nails and toes: chevron, nautical or ombre nails!
-Cute neon flip flops, branded cover up and hot pink or green bathing suit!

 

Food
-Colored ice cream is a hit!
-Neon Oreos, yes please.
-Chevron cake and cupcakes - and matching toppers and wrappers with the custom logo on the front.
